Rachel Cornelisse


Rachel joined the Spectrum Benefits, LLC team in early 2013.  Prior to joining Spectrum Benefits as an Account Executive, she served as the Manager of Employee Benefits and Retirement Services at a large higher education institution in the state.  There she maintained both self-funded and fully insured medical, dental, vision, life and disability programs and retirement benefits for approximately 1500 full-time bargaining unit and non-represented employees.  She has also served in Human Resources in the retail management and transportation/logistics industries.  Rachel received her Bachelor’s Degree from Davenport University in Human Resource Management and maintains certificates as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS).

Rachel works closely with clients to deliver effective client solutions and meet established objectives.  She handles benefits and insurance service issues for existing clients, analyze claims reporting for self-funded clients, answer compliance questions and general questions regarding group benefits and insurance policies.  Rachel seeks to remain informed of employee benefit plan trends and legislative changes affecting human resources and employee benefits.  Rachel is Life-Health Insurance licensed in the State of Michigan.
